A fridge or freezer travels best upright. A driver with a suitable vehicle picks it up and brings it into your flat.

Travel upright, then wait

Switch it off the day before and let it defrost.

The driver sees in the job that it rides upright.

After setting it up, wait a few hours before switching it on.

And your old appliance?

If it still works, list it on BringEasy for free. Whoever takes it books the pickup.

If it is broken, the BSR recycling centres take electrical appliances for free.

If you buy new from a larger shop, it has to take your old appliance away for free when it delivers, if you say so when you buy.

Common questions

How many people does a fridge need?

A fridge freezer needs two. If someone carries at both doors, the driver comes alone. Otherwise the driver brings a second person.

Can I also buy a fridge here?

Yes, if one is on the marketplace. BringEasy then suggests the transport price, you can adjust it, and you book it with the purchase.

May a fridge be moved lying down?

Best not. If it has to be, then on its side, not its back, and let it stand longer before you switch it on. The manufacturer’s manual comes first.

What does the transport cost?

You name the price yourself, starting from BringEasy's suggestion, between 20 € and 2.000 €. The service fee comes on top. Everything is shown separately before you pay.

Where does BringEasy work?

Berlin. Pickup and delivery are both in Berlin.

What if something breaks?

The driver is liable for damage. Every driver shows us business liability insurance before their first job; it pays if something happens to the building. Report damage from your booking. If damage to the item has not been settled after 14 days, BringEasy can step in voluntarily: up to the purchase price, at most 200 € per delivery.
