Found “zu verschenken, nur Selbstabholung” on Kleinanzeigen, or got it from friends? The piece costs nothing, and a driver collects it for you and brings it into your flat.

Before you book

Ask whether the piece is still there and by when it must be collected.

“Nur Selbstabholung” only means the giver brings nothing. A driver you book is your pickup.

For the pickup the form needs the name on the doorbell; the giver’s phone number is optional.

The marketplace has pieces to give away too. There you book the transport with the piece, and the suggestion comes from the listing.

Common questions

Is a transport worth it for a free piece?

That is your call: the piece costs nothing, the transport has its price. Above you see an example and the lowest suggestion.

Do I have to be at the pickup?

No. You name who is at the pickup, usually the giver. At the delivery you are there, or someone you name.

Can I have several free pieces collected at once?

Yes. Up to 5 pickups fit in one booking, on one day.

What does the transport cost?

You name the price yourself, starting from BringEasy's suggestion, between 20 € and 2.000 €. The service fee comes on top. Everything is shown separately before you pay.

Where does BringEasy work?

Berlin. Pickup and delivery are both in Berlin.

What if something breaks?

The driver is liable for damage. Every driver shows us business liability insurance before their first job; it pays if something happens to the building. Report damage from your booking. If damage to the item has not been settled after 14 days, BringEasy can step in voluntarily: up to the purchase price, at most 200 € per delivery.
